Deck overview

This deck is a five-color spellslinger strategy led by Codie, Ravenous Codex that exploits creatures with the prepare mechanic. Codie automatically copies prepared spells, turning cheap adventure-style halves into massive double-cast value engines. The early game establishes rapid mana development through versatile dorks such as Bloom Tender and Birds of Paradise, deploying Codie on Turn 3. During the midgame, the deck lands premier Magecraft engines including Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, and Veyran, Voice of Duality to generate huge amounts of Treasure mana and card draw from every spell cast and copy. On Turn 6, the deck converts this velocity into a lethal storm turn using Professor Onyx life drain, Passionate Archaeologist burn, or an enormous Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate. Packed with redundant prepare creatures, graveyard recursion, and low-cost interaction, the list delivers high synergy and explosive finishing power.
