Format: Commander

Commander: Red Death, Shipwrecker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Red Death, Shipwrecker leads an Izzet control and forced-combat shell that accelerates mana and manipulates combat while digging deep for combo pieces or game-ending spells. The commander provides reliable early red mana and disrupts opponents by goading key threats and feeding draw triggers like Faerie Mastermind, Zurzoth, Chaos Rider, and The Unagi of Kyoshi Island. As pillowfort enchantments like Propaganda and Collective Restraint shield your life total, untap creatures like Aphetto Alchemist and Fatestitcher generate explosive value. The deck wins by assembling infinite untap loops with Illusionist's Bracers and Unctus, Grand Metatect to draw out the deck, or by casting mass combat swings with Insurrection and Reins of Power.
