Format: Commander

Commander: The Colossal Dreadmaw

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Colossal Dreadmaw is a mono-green ramp-and-stomp deck built around a commander that turns every creature card in hand into a 6/6 trample Dreadmaw. The primary plan is to accelerate to six mana, flood the board with redundant Dreadmaws, and draw cards off power- and mana-value-based engines. Secondary paths use big utility creatures such as Worldspine Wurm, Terastodon, and Vigor for their enters-the-battlefield effects or recursion. The commander is both a consistency engine and a finisher; there is no true hidden commander, but the regular Colossal Dreadmaw in the 99 acts as an extra copy of the signature body. The deck wins through combat, usually with Preposterous Proportions or a haste-granting swing.
