Mono Red by manzanagabo

Format: Commander

Commander: Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Alexios is a mono-red politics/aggro deck built around a commander that switches control every upkeep, attacks every combat, and grows with a +1/+1 counter each cycle. The primary plan is to protect Alexios with cheap boots, make it unblockable with Key to the City, and let it pile commander damage onto all three opponents while it can never attack you. Secondary paths come from hasty threats, impulse draw, and theft effects like Stolen Strategy, Etali, Primal Storm, and Plargg and Nassari, which generate card advantage and board presence. Fire Nation Archers provides a slow mana-sink kill, and Savage Beating offers a burst finish. No hidden commander exists; Alexios defines the deck's clock and win condition.
