Deck overview

This Bant midrange deck is commanded by Kellan, the Kid and focuses on extracting massive tempo by casting spells from outside the hand. By leveraging mechanics such as Airbend, Foretell, Warp, Rebound, and Cascade, the deck triggers Kellan to cheat permanent cards directly into play for free. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with 1-drop mana creatures and cost reducers like Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius. By Turn 4, the engine comes online, pairing exile triggers with card draw from engines like Vega, the Watcher. The midgame rapidly escalates into explosive turns where bombs like Apex Devastator, Famished Worldsire, and Lumra, Bellow of the Woods hit the battlefield well ahead of schedule. While the deck lacks infinite combos and stax elements, it generates immense value and finishes games through overwhelming combat pressure supported by protective spells like Teferi's Protection.
