Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier is a spell-slinger mana battery and drain engine: every noncreature spell grows her and pings all opponents, and her once-per-turn ability converts her power into more colored mana. The primary plan is to chain cheap instants and sorceries through drain payoffs such as Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Firebrand Archer, using Veyran and copy effects to multiply triggers. The secondary path is the Niv-Mizzet + Curiosity combo for an immediate infinite-damage kill. The deck can also close with an upgraded Vivi or a large Grapeshot storm turn. There is no true hidden commander; Niv-Mizzet serves as an alternate finisher and combo centerpiece.
