Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs The Second Doctor and Donna Noble in an Aikido and spite-damage strategy that weaponizes opponent aggression and symmetric damage effects. The Second Doctor acts as a political and card-advantage engine, offering opponents cards that temporarily pacify them and protect your life total while drawing into your key pieces. Meanwhile, Donna Noble turns any damage dealt to herself or her soulbonded partner into direct burn aimed at opponents' life totals. The deck leverages cheap, high-damage board sweepers like Blasphemous Act and Chain Reaction alongside redirection engines such as Arcbond, Phyrexian Vindicator, and Brash Taunter to deal massive, lethal damage spikes. Backed by an elite interaction suite including Sunforger, Deflecting Swat, and Teferi's Protection, the deck controls the flow of combat and punishes any attempt to attack or sweep the board.
