Deck overview

This Grixis deck is commanded by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria and built around a blend of Villain tribal synergies, combat aggression, and discard-based resource advantages. The early game focuses on developing mana rocks and low-curve Villains such as Prowler, Clawed Thief or Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord. By Turn 4, Doctor Doom enters the battlefield to grant menace and trigger repeatable conniving at combat, filtering cards into the graveyard while burning the table whenever lands are discarded. In the midgame, the deck capitalizes on discard payoffs like Archfiend of Ifnir, Bone Miser, and Containment Construct, or goes wide with tokens from Ultron, Unlimited and Madame Hydra. The primary victory route is achieved on Turn 8 through wide, evasive combat attacks powered by The Squadron Sinister and Titania, Proud Pummeler, complemented by burn from discard triggers.
