Henzie, Toolbox Torre by fortune317

Commander: Henzie "Toolbox" Torre

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 47

Deck overview

This deck leverages Henzie "Toolbox" Torre to turn high-mana creature threats into undercosted, hasty blitz spells that draw cards upon death. Ten 1-CMC mana ramp pieces ensure Henzie enters the battlefield on Turn 2, unlocking blitz payloads on Turn 3. Starting on Turn 4, explosive creatures such as Etali, Primal Conqueror, Incinerator of the Guilty, Massacre Wurm, and Kokusho, the Evening Star apply heavy combat pressure while stocking the graveyard. The deck finishes games on Turns 5 and 6 through mass reanimation spells like Living Death and Bringer of the Last Gift, returning multiple large creatures to overwhelm remaining opponents. The strategy features high card flow and immunity to sorcery-speed removal on its attackers, but remains vulnerable to targeted graveyard exile and early commander disruption.
