Deck overview

This Boros deck executes a fast, aggressive combat strategy centered on Aurelia, the Warleader. In the opening turns, the deck develops mana rocks and deploys low-cost token generators such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, and Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin. By Turn 4, it establishes a wide board of attackers supported by power enhancers like Shared Animosity and Skyhunter Strike Force. On Turn 5, resolving Aurelia or an alternate extra-combat effect immediately doubles the combat pressure, untapping all attackers for two explosive waves of damage. A dense suite of low-cost protection spells, including Flawless Maneuver, Boros Charm, and Selfless Spirit, guards the battlefield against board wipes. Meanwhile, efficient spot exile spells such as Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile remove critical blockers and opposing combo engines.
