Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier is the primary storm payoff. The deck assembles Isochron Scepter with imprinted Dramatic Reversal and a two-mana nonland source such as Sol Ring or Mana Vault. Each Scepter activation casts a free copy of Dramatic Reversal, untapping the Scepter and the mana source. With Vivi Ornitier in play, every cast adds a counter and deals 1 damage to each opponent, producing a same-turn table kill. Fast mana can create an early ceiling, but ordinary access is closer to turn 5 because Isochron Scepter has little direct tutoring. The deck protects the attempt well against stack interaction through free counters and Defense Grid, while creature and artifact removal remain important gaps. Aetherflux Reservoir and Ral, Storm Conduit provide alternate payoffs, but they need separate access and are slower. The deck is best played as a proactive combo deck that develops mana and selection before committing to the commander and Scepter line.
