Helmed by Oskar, Rubbish Reclaimer, this dimir deck is a graveyard-value engine that converts discard into free spellcasting from the yard. By chaining looters, discard payoffs, and reanimation, it aims to overwhelm the table with repeated Gray Merchant of Asphodel drains, Living Death resurrections, and Sheoldred // The True Scriptures saga finishes. The strategy is highly synergistic but linear: every card either enables discard, rewards it, or is a reanimation target. The command zone provides the crucial ability to cast nonland cards from the graveyard on discard, but the deck has multiple backup ways to cast from the yard (Vohar, Vodalian Desecrator, Jace, Vryn's Prodigy), so it is not crippled without the commander.
