Deck overview

This mono-red aggro deck leverages Tannuk, Steadfast Second to cheat massive artifacts and red creatures into play ahead of curve. By paying the alternate warp cost of {2}{R}, Tannuk lets you deploy colossal beaters such as Darksteel Colossus, Myr Battlesphere, and Maelstrom Colossus with immediate haste. Although warped creatures exile at the end step, they deliver devastating combat connections and enter-the-battlefield triggers on the turn they land, remaining castable from exile on later turns. The deck supplements this aggressive tempo with damage multipliers like Fiendish Duo and Gratuitous Violence, passive burn triggers from Impact Tremors, and auxiliary haste engines like The Fire Crystal. While lacking instant-speed stack protection and dedicated tutors, the sheer density of terrifying high-mana threats ensures that every draw step maintains high pressure on opposing life totals.
