Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Spirit typal and token swarm strategy commanded by King of the Oathbreakers. The core game plan focuses on casting the commander on Turn 4 and exploiting its unique trigger using low-cost multi-target spells like Touch of Darkness, Heaven's Gate, and Cauldron Haze. By targeting its own Spirits, the deck phases them out to completely bypass opposing spot removal and board wipes, duplicating its flying board presence upon phasing back in during the next untap step. The resulting swarm of evasive 1/1 Spirit tokens is rapidly amplified by token multipliers (Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Anointed Procession), static anthems (Inspiring Leader, Flowering of the White Tree), and life-drain engines (Mirkwood Bats). It closes games around Turn 7 via massive combat overruns using Moonshaker Cavalry, Akroma's Will, or Mirror Entity.
