Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Enchantress Midrange strategy led by Anikthea, Hand of Erebos. The core plan utilizes self-mill and natural enchantment plays to stock the graveyard, followed by deploying Anikthea to reanimate non-Aura enchantments as 3/3 black Zombie creature copies with menace. Token multipliers like Doubling Season, Anointed Procession, and Parallel Lives compound this effect, while blink engines like Teleportation Circle and Ephemerate re-trigger Anikthea repeatedly. The deck converts its board development into card velocity through classic enchantress engines like Sythis, Harvest's Hand and Eidolon of Blossoms. Asymmetric control pieces like Aura Shards, Thoughtrender Lamia, and Doomwake Giant strip opposing boards and hands on every enchantment entry. The game concludes on Turns 6 to 7 by overwhelming the table with enormous menacing tokens pumped by Cathars' Crusade, Hallowed Haunting, or Beastmaster Ascension, backed by high-tier phasing protection like Teferi's Protection and Clever Concealment.
