Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Temur creature combo deck piloted by Animar, Soul of Elements. The primary strategy accelerates Animar onto the battlefield on Turn 2 or Turn 3, chains low-cost creatures to accumulate +1/+1 counters, and reduces creature costs to zero. On Turn 4, the deck searches for or draws into Ancestral Statue, repeatedly bouncing and recasting it for free to generate an arbitrarily large Animar. The deck then converts this into an immediate table kill using Walking Ballista for lethal direct damage, Terror of the Peaks triggers, or Chandra's Ignition. Built-in protection from white and black shields Animar against staple spot removal, while free counterspells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat protect critical combo turns. If the combo is disrupted, the deck pivots into a resilient big-mana beatdown plan with legendary Eldrazi and trample enablers.
