Deck overview

This Naya midrange stompy deck is piloted by Toph, the First Metalbender, turning nontoken artifacts into lands and earthbending lands into recurring hasty attackers at each end step. Supported by a dense suite of 1-2 CMC mana rocks and land searchers, the deck reliably deploys Toph on Turn 4 to begin animating lands and triggering landfall synergies. Mid-game threats like The Earth King, The Boulder, Ready to Rumble, and Chocobo Racetrack rapidly expand the board state by fetching additional basic lands and generating token armies during attacks. The primary game plan achieves critical onset around Turn 6 and closes out the table via wide trample and menace combat damage by Turn 8. While earthbent lands naturally resist destruction by returning to play tapped, the deck suffers from low-density instant-speed protection and relies on clunky, high-cost removal artifacts for interaction.
