Deck overview

This deck is a powerful Grixis reanimator and midrange attrition strategy commanded by Sauron, the Dark Lord. It leverages efficient graveyard enablers like Entomb, Buried Alive, and Faithless Looting to deposit game-ending creatures such as Archon of Cruelty, Vilis, Broker of Blood, and Sheoldred, Whispering One into the graveyard, returning them ahead of curve using cheap reanimation spells. Concurrently, Sauron establishes a commanding board presence by amassing an Orc Army whenever opponents cast spells, converting combat damage into repeated hand-refills via the Ring tempts mechanic.
