Commander: The Sentry, Golden Guardian

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The Sentry, Golden Guardian is a 5/5 flying, vigilant, indestructible commander that creates an indestructible 5/5 token named The Void for an opponent on entry. The deck turns this drawback into an asset by goading The Void, taxing opposing attacks, or neutralizing it using forced-combat redirection. The primary win condition is Voltron commander combat damage boosted by damage multipliers like Duelists Heritage, Inquisitors Flail, and Flaming Fist. Meanwhile, symmetrical pillowfort pieces and wrath effects spare your indestructible commander while wiping the rest of the board, allowing you to steadily eliminate opponents in aerial combat.
