Deck overview

This is a Gruul Ape/Monkey tribal deck helmed by Kibo, Uktabi Prince, built around a unique artifact-destruction engine. Kibo's tap ability hands every player a Banana token - an artifact - and whenever an opponent's artifact hits the graveyard, every Ape and Monkey you control gets a +1/+1 counter. The deck is packed with artifact destruction (Abrade, Ancient Grudge, Seeds of Innocence, Kogla, the Titan Ape, and a dozen more) to feed that pump, while token doublers (Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, Primal Vigor) and Descent into Avernus accelerate the board. The primary win is combat damage from a heavily pumped Ape army, with big finishers like Grunn, the Lonely King and Return of the Wildspeaker closing games. It is a fair, midrange beatdown deck with no infinite combos - it wins by grinding out artifact advantage and swinging with ever-growing monkeys.
