Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green midrange strategy commanded by Captain Kathryn Janeway, blending classic landfall and +1/+1 counter synergies with a flavorful Star Trek crew suite. The game plan focuses on establishing early mana ramp to deploy Janeway by Turn 4. Once assembled, Janeway accelerates land drops and triggers explore on every creature entering the battlefield, smoothing draws and buffing creatures with counters. Mid-game turns leverage scaling engines such as Scute Swarm, Ancient Greenwarden, and Dr. Joseph M'Benga to develop a dominating, wide board presence. Without fast combo routes or haste enablers, the deck wins through successive combat steps, overwhelming opponents with trampling threats provided by Dominion Supervisor and Syndicate Liquidators. While vulnerable to mass board wipes and possessing minimal reactive interaction, the deck's steady stream of land drops and top-deck card access provides resilience in prolonged casual Commander pods.
