Deck overview

This Boros Spellslinger deck uses Feather, the Redeemed as an engine to turn cheap, single-target instants and sorceries into infinitely reusable resources. By targeting Feather or other friendly creatures, every pump spell, cantrip, and protection trick returns to your hand at each end step. The deck pairs this engine with burn creatures like Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, and Kessig Flamebreather to deal damage to the entire table while Feather threatens lethal commander damage in the air. Mana acceleration establishes Feather on Turn 3 or Turn 4 with open mana for protection. Lethal pressure begins on Turn 5, steadily eliminating opponents by Turn 7. The strategy features dense protection and strong card retention, but it depends heavily on Feather remaining on the battlefield and carries a thin reactive interaction suite against non-combat combo strategies.
