Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Phyrexian tribal strategy helmed by Omnath, Locus of All, focusing on toxic, infect, and proliferate mechanics backed by high-impact Praetors. The game plan opens with low-cost infect and toxic creatures like Blighted Agent, Skrelv, Defector Mite, and Bloated Contaminator to infect opponents early. Once poison counters are placed, the deck transitions into a compounding proliferate engine utilizing Atraxa, Praetors' Voice, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Flux Channeler, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician to tick opponents up to ten poison without needing full combat damage. Omnath, Locus of All banks unspent mana as black and provides steady card advantage, helping deploy game-warping Praetors like Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, and Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider. While the mana base runs a lean land count and lacks instant-speed stack protection against sweepers, high functional redundancy and asymmetric stax pieces maintain inevitable pressure.
