Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier is the deck's central engine. Cheap noncreature spells grow its power, deal 1 damage to each opponent, and eventually let it produce meaningful blue or red mana once each turn. The deck supports this plan with cantrips, burn, spell-cost reducers, Wizard payoffs, token makers, and a small counterspell package. Its best ordinary board includes Vivi Ornitier plus a payoff such as Fiery Inscription, Guttersnipe, or Storm-Kiln Artist, followed by several cheap spells. That board can create strong incremental pressure, but it assembles slowly and does not reliably access its singleton finishers. Prismari, the Inspiration and Thousand-Year Storm offer a high ceiling, yet their seven-mana costs and limited tutoring make them exceptional rather than ordinary draws. The deck is therefore a casual-to-mid-power spellslinger: it can snowball when its payoffs survive, but it lacks compact finishing, broad protection, and dependable recovery after a developed board is removed.
