Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet coin-flip and high-cost payoff deck led by Yusri, Fortune's Flame. The primary strategy uses Yusri in the early game as an aggressive card-advantage engine, swinging on Turn 4 to flip up to five coins and draw multiple cards per turn cycle. While Yusri carries self-damage risks, the deck leverages that card flow to dig into high-impact threats such as Ovika, Enigma Goliath, Etali, Primal Storm, and One with the Multiverse. Specific enablers like Edgar, King of Figaro guarantee coin-flip wins, enabling explosive turns where your entire hand is cast without paying mana costs. The deck also includes nonbasic land disruption in Harbinger of the Seas and Zhao, the Moon Slayer to hinder opponents' mana bases. Because it lacks dedicated tutors and fast mana, the deck functions through raw card advantage and high-variance combat power, assembling its board around Turn 6 and closing the table by Turn 8.
