Commander: Rankle, Master of Pranks

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Rankle, Master of Pranks is a hand-attrition and drain-control deck. The primary plan is to resolve Rankle and use his haste trigger to force all players to discard, draw, and sacrifice creatures, then convert those forced actions into damage with Megrim, Raiders' Wake, Underworld Dreams, and similar payoffs. Secondary paths are graveyard-based reanimation and high-devotion Gray Merchant swings, plus mass-drain effects from Blood Artist and friends. The commander is a repeatable engine rather than a combat kill; no double-faced commander exists here. Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor and Tinybones work as alternate value engines, but Rankle remains the main accelerant.
