Format: Commander

Commander: Black Waltz No. 3

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos spells-matter burn deck: Black Waltz No. 3 turns every noncreature spell into 2 damage to each opponent, and the 99 is built to multiply that trigger. Redundant burn engines - Guttersnipe, Longshot, Rebel Bowman, Fiery Inscription, Thermo-Alchemist, and the 0/1 Wizard tokens from Kuja, Genome Sorcerer, Circle of Power, Cornered by Black Mages, and Black Mage's Rod - convert cheap cantrips, removal, and rituals into table-wide damage. Damage multipliers (Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Dictate of the Twin Gods, Hawkeye, Young Avenger, Wound Reflection, and Trance Kuja, Fate Defied) escalate that burn into elimination range, while Bolas's Citadel + Aetherflux Reservoir offers an engine-based alternative win. Harmonic Prodigy and Roaming Throne make the Wizard/Shaman triggers fire multiple times. Kills usually come from a Mana Geyser/Jeska's Will turn into Exsanguinate, Drain Life, Soul Burn, or a 50-life Reservoir activation.
