Kaalia of the Vast by user7888012

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a classic Kaalia of the Vast build that aims to cheat enormous Angels, Demons, and Dragons into play by attacking with the commander. The primary game plan is to ramp into Kaalia, give her haste, and then chain extra combat steps to dump multiple high-impact creatures onto the battlefield each turn. Damage doublers like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Twinflame Tyrant amplify the already massive board, while Master of Cruelties offers a one-shot kill with Kaalia. The deck also packs reanimation as a backup plan and a handful of stax pieces to slow opponents. Secondary win conditions include Hellkite Tyrant's artifact-based alternate win and Valgavoth, Terror Eater's value engine.
