Gandalf and friends by sinpath92

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai legendary-Wizard typal spellslinger built around Gandalf, Party Guest. The commander turns a critical mass of legendary Wizards into free instants and sorceries at the beginning of combat (X = twice your legendary Wizard count), converting board presence into tempo and card advantage. The 99 leans into LOTR-flavored Gandalfs plus efficient legendary Wizards, token makers (Talrand, Sky Summoner, Kykar, Wind's Fury), magecraft/doublers (Veyran, Voice of Duality, Harmonic Prodigy, Roaming Throne, Gandalf the White), and a dense interaction suite. Primary wins are go-wide combat-tokens and bodies pumped by Balmor, Battlemage Captain, Jeskai Ascendancy, and Akroma's Will-backed by haymakers like Call Forth the Tempest, Surge to Victory, and Inspired Ultimatum. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck wins through value, free spells, and decisive combat turns.
