Deck overview

This Temur deck pairs Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist to form a potent Voltron engine powered by card advantage from exile. The primary strategy accelerates into a Turn 4 Pako, attacking immediately with haste to exile cards from every player's library and grow in size. On subsequent turns, Haldan allows you to play the exiled lands and noncreature spells, converting Pako's attacks into massive card flow. The deck finishes games by eliminating opponents sequentially with commander damage, augmented by evasion pieces like Aqueous Form and burst damage from Temur Battle Rage. A healthy suite of low-cost counterspells and protective combat tricks ensures Pako survives spot removal and board sweepers, while secondary token generators and high-impact threats like Etali, Primal Storm provide resilient backup lines.
