Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Vehicles aggro build commanded by Balthier and Fran. The strategy focuses on curving out with efficient ramp, deploying resilient Vehicles, and using the commander to provide stat buffs, reach, vigilance, and an extra combat phase each turn. Because Balthier and Fran gives attacking Vehicles vigilance, crewed Vehicles remain untapped after the first combat and can swing again in the second combat without needing to be re-crewed. Secondary engines like Bello, Bard of the Brambles, Chandra, Spark Hunter, and Esika's Chariot provide alternative animation, token generation, and card advantage. The deck applies heavy combat pressure starting on Turn 5 and closes out the table around Turn 7 using damage multipliers like Unnatural Growth or mass reanimation with Push the Limit.
