Tolkin by M1grandsegers

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is the engine of an Azorius token swarm: he doubles token creation and doubles non-first draws, letting small cantrips swell into large armies. The primary plan is to resolve Bard, add at least one token doubler or draw engine (Anointed Procession, Elspeth, Storm Slayer, Mister Fantastic, Rabble Rousing), then bury opponents with countless tokens and a mass pump such as Moonshaker Cavalry, Knowledge Is Power, or Finale of Glory. Secondary lines use pure draw synergies (Teferi's Ageless Insight, Kindred Discovery) with flying token producers. Bard is the accelerator but not strictly required; the deck can still go wide on the back of the other doublers. Teferi's Ageless Insight acts as the closest thing to a hidden commander, duplicating Bard's draw replacement.
