Deck overview

Kotis, the Fangkeeper leads a proactive Sultai Voltron and theft archetype designed to convert commander combat damage into massive tempo and card advantage. The deck accelerates through 16 low-cost mana pieces to deploy Kotis on turn 3, followed immediately on turn 4 by attaching power-boosting equipment such as Blackblade Reforged, Belt of Giant Strength, or Power Fist. Because Kotis has innate indestructible, it attacks aggressively into opposing boards, exiling deep chunks of opposing libraries and casting their best spells without paying mana costs. Trigger doublers like Felix Five-Boots and Roaming Throne multiply this advantage, while Ancient Cellarspawn and Super State convert free spell casts and combat connections into lethal table-wide damage. Supported by free interaction like Fierce Guardianship and Deadly Rollick, along with targeted phase-out protection, the deck reliably establishes critical onset on turn 4 and closes out the game across two subsequent combat cycles.
