Commander: Commodore Guff

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Jeskai deck operates as a hybrid planeswalker control and token burn strategy led by Commodore Guff. Guff ramps your noncreature plays, produces blockers, and serves as an incremental damage and card draw engine. Early turns establish cheap mana rocks, cost reducers, and Spirit or Sliver utility creatures to protect your life total and planeswalkers. In the mid-game, engines like Kykar, Wind's Fury, Oath of Teferi, and Urza Assembles the Titans compound loyalty abilities and board presence. The deck closes out games by chaining planeswalker activations alongside damage multipliers like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Fated Firepower, or unleashing massive burst spells like Comet Storm and Inspired Ultimatum.
