Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Sphinx tribal midrange strategy commanded by The Ur-Sphinx. The deck uses passive cost reduction from the command zone alongside mana artifacts and tribal reducers like Urza's Incubator to deploy massive flying threats ahead of curve. The core engine centers on Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign and Kindred Discovery, which generate recurring card advantage whenever Sphinxes enter the battlefield or attack. The deck controls the board using efficient counterspells like Mana Drain and asymmetric sweepers like Raise the Palisade and Kindred Dominance. Once established, high-impact creatures such as Magister Sphinx, Medomai the Ageless, and The Ur-Sphinx deal heavy aerial combat damage. Graveyard recursion cards like Reanimate and Patriarch's Bidding provide strong resilience against removal. The deck steadily overwhelms opponents through card advantage, efficient disruption, and dominant flying pressure.
