Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant leads a Sultai kindred midrange deck that merges fast Elfball mana generation with flash timing and opponent exile theft. Early turns focus on establishing mana dorks such as Llanowar Elves and Priest of Titania, quickly transitioning into flash enablers like Vivien, Champion of the Wilds and Final-Word Phantom. Once Maralen, Fae Ascendant is in play, casting kindred spells during opponents' turns exiles their top cards and casts their best spells for free. Card draw engines like Nymris, Oona's Trickster and token creators like Lys Alana Huntmaster sustain continuous resource advantage. The deck finishes games by overwhelming opponents with mass creature spells such as Kindred Summons and Emergent Ultimatum, converting wide boards into lethal combat steps with lords like Elvish Archdruid. Defensive countermagic and Selfless Safewright guard against wipes, while Bloodline Bidding ensures resilient recovery.
