Deck overview

This Simic deck uses partner commanders Kodama of the East Tree and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to create an explosive permanent-cheating engine. The game plan focuses on deploying dense 1- and 2-mana ramp spells in the early turns, establishing 6 mana by turn 4. Once Kodama enters, Sakashima enters on turn 5 as a non-legendary copy. Because both Kodama triggers operate independently when permanents enter from other sources, every land or permanent deployed from hand immediately cascades into another permanent of equal or lesser mana value. This enables the deck to empty its hand onto the battlefield in a single turn cycle, generating overwhelming board states with token engines like Rampaging Baloths and Sapling Nursery. The deck closes games around turn 8 through massive trample attacks backed by cards like Garruk's Uprising. While lacking infinite combo pieces or stax elements, the deck delivers resilient mana development, powerful recovery from sweepers, and high-impact creature swarms.
