Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie tribal and aristocrats engine commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary strategy focuses on deploying resilient Zombie creatures, converting high-power bodies into large swarms of 2/2 Zombie tokens, and leveraging tribal lords and death triggers to close out the game. Acceleration from mana rocks and Dark Ritual enables an on-curve deployment of Gisa by turn 4 or 5. Once active, Gisa sacrifices recursive threats such as Gravecrawler or large beaters like Grave Titan to multiply board presence exponentially. Evasion enablers like Cover of Darkness and lords like Undead Warchief and Death Baron grant formidable combat lethality, while aristocrat payoffs including Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel drain opposing life totals directly. The deck includes efficient interaction and asymmetric creature suppression through Noxious Ghoul and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, though it remains vulnerable to sweepers and lacks artifact removal.
