Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Great Goblin is a counter-and-death payoff in a goblin/orc tribal shell. The deck generates amass Armies, cheap goblin tokens, and +1/+1 counters, turning every counter placement into 2 damage and every death into repeatable exile-and-play card advantage. The primary plan is a wide token kill with Shared Animosity and Krenko, Mob Boss, while the secondary path is a persist combo using First Day of Class or Metallic Mimic and a sacrifice outlet. The commander accelerates both plans but is not required for the combo; Krenko effectively serves as a hidden token commander. The closest thing to a hidden commander is the Army token itself, since amass spells let The Great Goblin burn.
