Deck overview

This deck is a classic Orzhov Aristocrats strategy commanded by Teysa Karlov. Its primary plan revolves around establishing a tripartite engine: free sacrifice outlets, disposable or recurring creature fodder, and blood-artist-style death triggers that drain life from opponents. Teysa Karlov sits at the nexus of the deck, doubling every death trigger to turn incidental chip damage into massive life swings. Because it does not run infinite combo loops, it grinds down opposing life totals over multiple turns using efficient attrition pieces like Bastion of Remembrance, Mirkwood Bats, and Syr Konrad, the Grim. Free sacrifice outlets provide built-in resilience against targeted interaction and allow the deck to turn destroy-based board wipes into lethal bursts of retaliatory drain. While it possesses remarkable engine redundancy and recovery speed, its primary vulnerabilities stem from exile-based sweepers and direct graveyard disruption that bypass death triggers entirely.
