Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius artifact and Vehicle synergy strategy commanded by Shorikai, Genesis Engine. Shorikai provides a self-contained card advantage engine and pilot token generator directly from the command zone. The deck accelerates in the opening turns using efficient two-mana mana rocks to deploy Shorikai ahead of curve. Once established, Shorikai filters cards and populates the battlefield with Pilot tokens that crew heavy Vehicles with ease. The midgame develops an imposing board of evasive combat threats like Parhelion II, Kappa Cannoneer, and Hulldrifter, supported by asymmetric removal like Organic Extinction. The deck closes out games by animating its noncreature artifacts into a lethal flying army using Cyberdrive Awakener, Rise and Shine, or Tezzeret the Seeker. Inherent resilience to sorcery-speed creature board wipes allows the deck to maintain steady pressure and outvalue opposing boards.
