Deck overview

This Sultai deck is helmed by Uugguu, the Omniplasm, a commander that creates two nonlegendary 2/2 token copies whenever another nontoken Ooze you control dies. The deck maximizes this triggered ability by combining a dense suite of shapeshifters and clones with universal creature-type changers like Arcane Adaptation and Maskwood Nexus. Once any creature counts as an Ooze, sacrificing or trading a clone generates two new copies, triggering powerful enter-the-battlefield and death triggers exponentially. Card draw engines like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and Mister Fantastic, Reed Richards turn these token creations into immense card advantage. The deck protects its board using efficient 1-mana resurrection spells that preserve key creatures while triggering Uugguu. It closes out games by clearing opposing boards with asymmetric bounce spells like Raise the Palisade and overrunning the table with boosted Ooze armies backed by Biowaste Blob and March of the World Ooze.
