Deck overview

This deck is a four-color polymorph control deck helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary strategy focuses on deploying cheap token generators such as Skrelv's Hive and Dreadhorde Invasion alongside 2-CMC mana rocks during the early turns, establishing fodder to sacrifice to Jace's −3 loyalty ability as soon as he resolves on Turn 4 or 5. Once activated, Jace polymorphs the token into colossal game-ending payloads from the 99, including legendary Eldrazi titans (Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, It That Betrays) and Phyrexian Praetors (Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite). Redundant polymorph spells like Proteus Staff, Identity Echo, and Mass Polymorph ensure consistent cheating capabilities even without the commander. While the deck generates overwhelming board presence and crushing attrition, its win clock relies on unhasty combat steps across multiple turns, requiring careful navigation against opposing exile removal and board sweepers.
