Iymrith by vinibueno182

Format: Commander

Commander: Iymrith, Desert Doom

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Iymrith, Desert Doom is the center of a mono-blue voltron-control deck. The primary plan is to deploy Iymrith behind a wall of counterspells, keep it untapped for ward {4}, then equip Blackblade Reforged or a Sword to close the game in three commander-damage hits. Secondary paths use Alandra, Sky Dreamer, Ominous Seas, Chasm Skulker, and Drake Haven to generate flyers, while Hullbreaker Horror plus Sol Ring and Mana Vault can create a mana engine that bounces opposing permanents. There is no double-faced commander; Hullbreaker Horror acts as the closest thing to a hidden combo engine. The deck is interactive and card-draw-rich but relies on the commander for its fastest clock.
