Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Ninja tempo and burn strategy led by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The game plan hinges on deploying evasive 1-drop creatures on the first turn to enable Turn 2 commander ninjutsu. Because Yuriko's ninjutsu ability circumvents both standard spell countermagic and the commander tax, the deck maintains an exceptionally resilient early engine. Once Yuriko is in play, her combat damage trigger generates steady card advantage while dealing damage equal to revealed cards' mana values to each opponent simultaneously. High-CMC spells such as Temporal Trespass, Silent-Blade Oni, and Great Whale turn regular attacks into massive life swings. While the deck lacks cEDH-level fast mana and instant-win combos, its combination of unblockable attackers, interactive counterspells, and simultaneous burn presents a fast, relentless clock that can overwhelm a pod by Turn 7.
