Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Temur Dragon stompy engine led by Ureni of the Unwritten. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana rapidly during the first three turns through land-grant sorceries, mana dorks, and tribal cost reducers like Urza's Incubator and Dragonspeaker Shaman. On Turn 4, the deck deploys Ureni or enablers like Hellkite Courser alongside haste sources such as Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy. Ureni immediately digs eight cards deep on entry and attack, cheating massive Dragons like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, and Utvara Hellkite directly onto the battlefield. This surge generates high combat pressure and lethal burn triggers that overwhelm opponents within two attack cycles. Additionally, the deck includes a two-card infinite combat finish via Aggravated Assault and Savage Ventmaw. While the deck is vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and countermagic before establishing board dominance, redundant Dragon bombs and high-velocity draw engines ensure rapid recovery and persistent threat density.
