DWARF ARMY (hobbit precon) by timmm

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf-tribal midrange deck helmed by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The plan is to flood the board with Dwarves, convert every enter (and many taps) into Treasure tokens, and let Thorin's anthem turn those artifact tokens into a lethal power pump. Magda, Brazen Outlaw is the premier support engine-tapping Dwarves for Treasures and converting five of them into any artifact or Dragon. Primary wins are go-wide combat (amplified by myriad, melee, double strike, and Overpowering Attack), supported by direct-damage payoffs like Dain of the Ancient Halls and a leveled Alchemist's Talent. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck wins by accumulating bodies and Treasures until a single combat step (or two) clears the table. Recursion and stack interaction are thin, so the deck plays as a straightforward tribal aggro-value strategy.
