Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Gruul combo list designed to race toward an explosive turn 2 or 3 win. Commanded by Etali, Primal Conqueror // Etali, Primal Sickness, the primary game plan uses explosive fast mana, mana dorks, and red ritual spells to deploy Etali well ahead of curve. Upon entering the battlefield, Etali casts four nonland cards from the table for free, frequently chaining into additional mana, copy effects, and win conditions. The deck features a definitive infinite combo in Food Chain plus Squee, the Immortal, which generates infinite creature mana to recast Etali indefinitely, exiling every opponent's library. It also runs a compact backup kill with Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame to create infinite attacking creatures. A robust suite of free and efficient protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Veil of Summer shields the decisive turn from opposing interaction.
