Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-blue artifact control build led by Urza, Lord High Artificer. Its primary strategy accelerates out Urza on Turn 3 using fast mana rocks like Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Chrome Mox. Once deployed, Urza turns all artifacts into untapped blue mana sources, generating massive mana advantage and creating large Construct tokens. The deck then pivots into oppressive asymmetric stax using Winter Orb, Static Orb, Back to Basics, or Stasis, tapping the Orb artifacts at the end of the last opponent's turn so only opponents suffer the untap restrictions. To finish the game, the deck executes an infinite colorless mana combo with Basalt Monolith and Forensic Gadgeteer, allowing Urza to exile and cast the entire library. This line bounces all opposing permanents with Cyclonic Rift and establishes a total lockout backed by counterspells and massive Eldrazi threats.
