Deck overview

This deck executes a tempo aggro strategy commanded by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. It begins by playing cheap, evasive 1-mana creatures such as Changeling Outcast and Ornithopter. On Turn 2, it attacks and uses Commander Ninjutsu to cheat Yuriko into play tapped and attacking for only {U}{B}, bypassing the commander tax entirely. When Yuriko deals combat damage, she draws the top card of the library and burns each opponent for that card's mana value. The deck accelerates this damage using topdeck manipulation spells like Brainstorm and Lim-Dûl's Vault to place high-cost spells like Omniscience and Invoke Despair on top of the library. Backed by cheap counterspells and unblockable attackers, the deck steadily drains the whole table at once.
